Head Coach Glen Padgett

Head Coach Glen Padgett is a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School(1980) and Wofford College(1984). Coach Padgett returns to CHS with an outstanding reputation as a classroom teacher and mentor and a great football coach having experience from the following schools:

James F. Byrnes High School - Duncan, SC: Assistant Coach 1985(State Runner-up) & 1986(State 4A Champion)
Concord High School - Assistant Coach 1987-1998 Athletic Director 1989-1998
Salisbury High School - Head Coach 1998-1999
Northwest Cabarrus High School - Head Coach 1999-2002

North Mecklenburg High School - Head Coach 2002-2009

Coach Padgett has served as a U.S. History teacher, Leadership and Student Council Advisor, and dropout prevention coordinator.
